RPAC Event - Graeme Connors

On July 10, the RMCMC was privileged to present CM legend Graeme Connors in concert with his “The Road Less Travelled” concert at the Redland Performing Arts Centre, Cleveland. The inspiration for the RMCMC to present Graeme at the RPAC emanated from Club member Neale Campbell, who must be Graeme’s biggest fan and who left no stone unturned in securing the event for his Club and the local community.

The show itself was a sellout and Graeme held the enthusiastic audience in the palm of his hand throughout, recalling his career highlights and delivering a wide and varied collection of his material, his talent as a performing artist and as a prolific songwriter.

The RMCMC was also privileged to provide Graeme’s warm-up act which was performed by a quartet of Club members (Dehlia & Kevin Brown, Jenny Jones and Allen McMonagle) and they didn’t let the side down, receiving a warm response from the audience.

A big thank you goes out to Graeme and his team for agreeing to put on the show. If you get a chance to see it at another venue, we would certainly encourage you not to miss it.
